City Day Care

City Day Care is gauging community interest for a full service, Monday-Friday Day Care that offers developmentally appropriate daily care program for children age 2-4.

The City Day Care offers individualized and attentive care in an enriched environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.

Subject to response, the goal is to open City Day Care’s doors in January 2012 offering placement of 20 first year applicants and expanding to 40 applicants for the fall of 2013.

Our daily schedule engages children in developmentally appropriate learning opportunities with a fun, exciting staff. At City Day Care, children have the opportunity to explore their world through a variety of activities including sensory experiences, creative expression, play-based language development, interactive musical creation and lots of social development.

Appreciating the fact that children are active learners, City Day Care would allocate part of each day developing large motor skills on an in-door playground and outdoor play areas weather permitting. The City Day Care staff is dedicated to guiding each child's individual development with patience, understanding and lots of smiles and encouragement.

City Day Care is located a few hundred yards from AU/TENLEYTOWN REDLINE METRO STOP and equally convenient for those dropping children off using our on-site parking lot or our Murdock Mill Road entry.

A prioritized waiting list is being assembled and there is limited space for 20 the first semester of the program.
