The City Church has a core value of being Missions Engaged. As a missions engaged church we believe that every person can become globally minded and locally invested in giving, praying, and serving people practically with the Gospel of Jesus Christ?

Jesus said, "Go into the world. Go everywhere and announce the Message of God's good news to one and all". (Mark 16:16;He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.)

Our heart is to reach out to our community in the Washington Metro Area and at the same time, to support organizations and churches that are helping people in other cities and countries around the world! We are privileged to have been able to sponsor several ministries and three church plants that are reaching people around the world. We also have a vision that includes offering annual short-term missions trips. Missions engaged means we are committed to a spirit of generosity and liberality in giving to missions, the needy and other ministries that represent good soil.
